1. Regular cleansing
You should ensure that you clean your skin at least twice a day. This helps in removing all manner of dark which might encourage bacteria inhabitation. Dirt also clogs the skin pores leading to the formation of pimples. Just use regular soap to do the cleaning regularly. There are also other products in the market that you can use. However, ensure that the components in the cleanser do not react with your skin.
2. Moisturize the skin
Ensure you apply moisturizer to your skin, especially if you have dry skin. In this case, the moisturizer helps protect your dry skin from developing cracks that would otherwise encourage the accumulation of dirt and bacteria. Depending on the dryness level, you can always try to keep it moist as regularly as possible.
3. Apply toner
Once you have cleansed the skin, you can also apply toner if your skin is oily. The toner helps in toning the oil down in such a way that the skin remains glowing with less pigmentation. Oily skin is prone to acne if you do not apply toner.
Lastly, you need to exfoliate your skin regularly. This removes the dead skin, which otherwise usually is very dull. The exfoliation, therefore, brightens up the skin for better complexions. Always cleanse the skin after the exfoliation and add the right amount of moisturizer. However, note that exfoliation is not something you should do regularly lest you destroy the young cells that keep generating. You can do it twice a month and still get the right outcome.
